Art from Around the World Summer camp June 29-July 3

Art Around the World Summer Art Camp
Explore global art traditions and techniques for ages 7–14

June 29–July 3
Instructor: Sara
Doors open at 8:30am, activities start at 9am

Delve deep into art from other cultures in this adventurous, hands-on camp. Young artists will explore the world through the eyes of creators from different places and times, discovering new materials, techniques, and stories as they go.

What to expect

  • Mornings: Focused art time creating projects inspired by global traditions. Paint expressive brushwork in the spirit of Japanese Sumi-e, design bold masks inspired by African art, and craft charming Guatemalan-style worry dolls—plus additional projects from other regions. Instruction is led by art educators and supported by studio staff.

  • Afternoons: A mix of open and structured art activities with a variety of related projects, facilitated by studio staff, giving kids room to experiment, revisit favorite techniques, and make the theme their own.

  • Throughout the week: Emphasis on creativity, curiosity about world cultures, and confidence-building in a fun, supportive studio environment.
