Artist-Inspired Art Summer camp June 15-19

Art History Masters Summer Art Camp
Create your own masterpieces inspired by famous artists for ages 7–14

June 9–13
Instructor: Micah
Doors open at 8:30am, activities start at 9am

Give your young artist a chance to explore 150 years of art history through hands-on projects and playful experimentation. In this week-long camp, students will discover well-known artists and styles, then use them as inspiration to create their own original works.

What to expect

  • Mornings: Focused art time exploring great artists and their techniques. Paint a swirling landscape inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, find beauty in close-up nature studies like Georgia O’Keeffe, build a bold clay mask in the spirit of Kimmy Cantrell, and have fun splatter painting like Jackson Pollock. Instruction is led by art educators and supported by studio staff.

  • Afternoons: A mix of open and structured art activities with a variety of related projects, facilitated by studio staff, giving kids time to experiment, revisit favorite techniques, and develop their own style.

  • Throughout the week: Emphasis on creativity, confidence, and art appreciation in a fun, supportive studio environment.
