Polymer Clay Class for Kids (Ages 10-15)

Class Description

Welcome to our Polymer Clay Class, specially designed for imaginative kids aged 10 to 15! In this engaging workshop, young artists will dive into the colorful world of polymer clay, learning how to create fun and unique sculptures, jewelry, and more while developing their artistic skills.

What to Expect

In this hands-on class, participants will:

  • Learn About Polymer Clay: Students will be introduced to the basics of polymer clay, including its properties, how to condition it for use, and the various tools that can enhance their creations.
  • Explore Techniques: Throughout the course, kids will learn essential techniques such as molding, sculpting, layering, and texturing. They will experiment with different methods to bring their ideas to life.
  • Create Unique Projects: Each session will focus on a specific project, allowing students to create items like charming figurines, colorful beads for jewelry, or imaginative creatures. They’ll have the freedom to express their creativity and personalize their designs.
  • Finish and Bake: Students will learn how to properly bake their creations in a home oven (with parental guidance), ensuring that their masterpieces are durable and ready for display or use.

All materials are included in the class fee, so students can focus on creating without worrying about bringing anything from home. Supplies provided include:

  • A variety of polymer clay in different colors
  • Sculpting tools and texture stamps
  • Baking instructions and safety guidelines
  • Aprons to keep clothes clean
