This exciting 7-week class is designed to immerse young artists in the world of drawing and color, using colored pencils as their primary medium. Through step-by-step guidance and creative projects, students will learn essential drawing techniques, explore color theory, and develop their artistic skills. All materials are provided by the studio, so your child only needs to bring their imagination and enthusiasm!
Each week focuses on a specific skill or concept, building a strong foundation in both drawing and color application. Students will leave with beautiful artwork and a deeper understanding of how to use colored pencils effectively.
Drawing Techniques: Master foundational skills like shading, blending, hatching, and layering.
Color Theory: Understand how colors interact, mix, and evoke emotions.
Creative Expression: Use colored pencils to create unique works of art that reflect personal style.
Observation Skills: Improve attention to detail by drawing from real-life references.
Ages: 7–10 years old
