School’s Out Art Camp: Mixed Media & Printmaking

Camp Sessions:

  • Half Day: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

  • Full Day: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (Full day campers please bring their own lunch)

Let your child dig into the adventurous world of mixed media and printmaking while school is closed! This lively camp introduces kids to layering, stamping, and creative experiments, blending printmaking with painting, collage, and more. All ages and experience levels are welcome—curiosity and discovery take the lead! All supplies are provided.

Today’s Theme:

  • Explore printmaking with easy-to-use materials, from foam stamps to textured rollers and even found objects

  • Combine painting, collage, and drawing into imaginative, one-of-a-kind artworks

  • Experiment with techniques that encourage creative risk-taking, self-expression, and teamwork

What to Expect:

  • Morning: Main mixed media and printmaking projects led by art educators, with step-by-step demos and freedom to explore different materials

  • Afternoon: Open studio and structured creative time offering more printmaking, collage, and playful media mashups, all facilitated by our caring staff

  • All art materials supplied—kids just need a snack (and lunch if staying all day!)

Fee: 1/2 day $40, Full day $70

This camp represents a hands-on art workshop where participants create a physical, original artwork (painting, print, or sculpture) that they take home. The product the customer owns is the finished artwork they make during workshop. The workshop acts as both the creation process and the means by which they acquire their tangible product.
