Wellness through Art: Winter Watercolor Workshop
Embrace the quiet beauty of winter through calming, intuitive watercolor

Experience creativity and relaxation in this soothing art session for ages 14 to adult. Part of our Wellness through Art series, the Winter Watercolor workshop is designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and find peace in the gentle flow of paint and water.

What to expect:

  • Begin and end the session with a simple grounding exercise or brief meditation to invite presence, ease, and reflection.

  • Explore basic watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet, layering, and soft washes to capture winter skies, trees, and abstract seasonal moods.

  • Play with cool color palettes, soft edges, and subtle textures to evoke snow, mist, and quiet landscapes, focusing on the process rather than perfection.

  • Enjoy a supportive, low-pressure environment where experimentation is encouraged and “happy accidents” are welcomed as part of your unique piece.

Details:

  • All materials supplied by the studio—just bring your curiosity and willingness to explore.

  • Cost: $27.50 per session

  • Open to ages 14 through adult

  • No prior art experience needed—come ready to relax, create, and experience the restorative power of making art with others.
