Adult Drawing Foundations 2 (11am-12:30pm)

Tuesdays: 11am-12:30pm
Fall 2: Nov. 3-Dec. 15
Ages: adult

Instructor: Samuel
Fee: $185

Build your drawing skills, explore new techniques, and develop greater confidence in your artwork.

Drawing Foundations 2 is designed for adults who want to strengthen their drawing abilities and explore more challenging subjects and techniques. Whether you've taken Drawing Foundations or have some drawing experience on your own, this class will help you develop your understanding of line, shape, proportion, texture, value, and composition.

Each week introduces a new drawing challenge focused on observation, technique, and creative problem-solving. You'll explore subjects such as still life, landscapes, perspective, light and shadow, and the human figure while experimenting with pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, ink, and other drawing materials.

Rather than simply copying an image or following step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to observe more carefully, break complex subjects into manageable shapes, and make your own artistic decisions.

Throughout the course, you'll build on your existing skills, experiment with different approaches, and develop greater confidence in your ability to draw what you see.

Drawing Foundations 1 is not required. This class welcomes adults who have some drawing experience and want to continue developing their skills.
