Calling all young artists who are wild about animals!
Each week, students will discover a different animal and use it as inspiration for a new art adventure. From painted lions and clay creatures to collage birds, printed fish, and cardboard insects, every class introduces a different way to create.
Young artists will explore painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and mixed media while learning how different materials can be used to make fur, feathers, scales, wings, patterns, and textures.
Projects are designed especially for ages 4–6, with plenty of room for imagination and individual choices. The goal isn't for every animal to look the same—it's for each child to experiment, make discoveries, and create an animal that's uniquely their own.
