Explore color, shape, and contrast—without worrying about painting the “right” thing.
Let go of the pressure to make something recognizable and spend some time simply playing with paint.
In this relaxed workshop, you’ll create an abstract acrylic painting while exploring color, shape, and contrast. We’ll use tape and stencils to create resist areas, building layers of painted shapes, crisp edges, and unexpected combinations as the composition develops.
There’s no image to copy and no single right outcome. Make choices, respond to what happens on the canvas, and allow the painting to change as you work.
We’ll begin with a brief guided relaxation, spend most of the session painting and experimenting, and finish with a few quiet moments to reset before heading back into the day.
No art or painting experience is needed. This workshop is playful and low-pressure, with an emphasis on experimenting with color and enjoying the process rather than worrying about making a perfect painting.
